Pull Back the Curtain on the Secret Buried in the $5 Email

$5 Letter

At the dawn of the internet marketplace in the mid 1,990's the internet switched from a government and academic research network to a public marketplace. The number of people using the internet exploded and email became the preferred choice of communication.

Long before smart phones and text messaging, popular emails known as the $5 Letter, $5 Mailer or the Paypal $6 Mailer were all the rage. According to all of the hype vast numbers of people were getting rich overnight.

Surely no one fibbed. Surly?

The Internet was still new for most people, and everyone was trying to discover how to make money with their computers.

  • Email inboxes were flooded with wonderful tales of instant riches.
  • The media was screaming "Pyramid Scheme".
  • People that tried it and weren't getting rich, cried "Scam" or "Fraud".
  • A few individuals were banking thousands every week.
In a minute we'll show you a copy of one of these old emails, dated 12/2/2002. It's filled with all of the glowing claims of instant riches, and how these programs work.

In truth these emails were sleazy scams, dressed up to sound like legitimate programs. The temptation for fraud was rampant. At best they were borderline pyramid schemes because all of the money went to recruitment. No value was added. Staying away would have been sound advice.

When you strip away the tantalizing promise of instant riches and dig deep inside these letters you'll find a powerful marketing lesson. It's one of the keys to success online.

All of these emails were pretty much the same thing. Simplicity was their main selling point. When you received one of these emails the instructions said to forward a copy of the email you just received to all of your friends.

The important part in each of these emails was a list of three to five email addresses of others involved in the program.

Example:
  • person1@aol.com
  • person2@hotmail.com
  • person3@yahoo.com
When people received one of these emails, they were instructed to:
  • Send the top email on the list $5.
  • Remove this top email from the list.
  • Add their own email address to the bottom of the list.
  • Include a one-line note requesting to be placed on the recipient's email list.

Short, sweet and easy to do. Little risk and big rewards. Even if it didn't work it only cost five bucks.

The great marketing lesson is what happens to that list of email addresses included in these emails as they float around the Internet.

The first person on the list sent this email to their friends. Let's say they sent this to 10 friends. Some of those 10 people did the same thing and sent it to their friends. Then some of the third group did the same thing and sent it to their friends.

If only a few forwarded to of their friends the total number of emails sent out always keeps growing. It makes no difference how few or how many people forwarded these emails. The key is that the total number of emails sent out keeps multiplying and getting bigger.

It's called the MULTIPLIER EFFECT

The number of people that receive one of these emails multiplies. The numbers keep growing and growing. Multiplying over and over.

And that is the great marketing lesson. Keep things multiplying.

The minute lots of people start receiving $5 all h**l breaks loose and the numbers skyrocket. Growing and growing. Multiplying over and over.

Marketing Lesson
Marketing Lesson:

There are plenty of good products on the internet. There is no need to get involved with something shady like the $5 letters from twenty plus years ago.

Make sure you're selling something of value. Something people want. A killer product or service.

Make sure a lot of people have the opportunity to make money quickly. Make it exciting. Make it MULTIPLY.

Fast forward to 2026

There is a product on the Internet today that does these things, it keeps growing, and multiplying. No sleaze. Nothing shady. Just a great deal on something people want.

It basically guarantees that you will make cash pretty quickly. And then you will make more cash. The smart ones that get involved will bank cash every week.

It's right here and we'll show you. Inflation has ravaged the dollar over the last 25 years so it now takes $10 for the same buying power as $5 back in 2,000.

If you want to spend $10 on a great program then turn the page...

Thanks

Like this was something dirty or sinful. Just like everything in life, some people will always be unhappy and bi*ch and complain.
